Organically Grown Dried Blue & White Butterfly Pea Flowers, 14g
Garden-grown mix of blue and white butterfly pea flowers, dried whole. Every batch is a little different, with deep blue blossoms alongside soft white ones.
Butterfly pea flower has a long history in traditional tea drinking across Southeast Asia. The blue flowers steep into a vivid blue, and a squeeze of lemon shifts it toward purple. The white flowers are milder and add less color, so your cup will be a softer blue than a blue-only tea. The flavor is mild and earthy, lovely on its own, blended with other herbs, or added to lemonade and sparkling water.
Why you’ll love it:
Organically grown, whole dried flowers in a natural mix of blue and white
Color-changing: add lemon or lime and watch the blue shift to purple
Mild, earthy flavor that pairs well with other herbs and citrus
Small-batch and garden grown, so each pack is a little different
Yields: Approximately 20-30 cups (based on 3-5 flowers per cup)
How to brew: Steep 3-5 dried flowers in 8 oz of hot water (just off boiling) for 5-8 minutes. Strain and enjoy hot or over ice. For a deeper blue, add a few more flowers. Add a squeeze of lemon for the color change.
